Mr. Winn Claybaugh is the Co-Founder, Co-Owner, and Dean of Paul Mitchell The School. Claybaugh has been the owner of hair salons and beauty academies since 1983. He is also the author of Be Nice (Or Else!) and "one of the best motivaltional speakers in the country", according to Larry King, who wrote the foreword for the book!

Paul Mitchell Schools Raise $1.7M for Charity

(BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – May 5, 2015) The results are in! After three months of cut-a-thons, fashion shows, princess parties, and thousands of other “FUNraising” events, the 14,000 Future Professionals and staff members from 110 Paul Mitchell cosmetology schools raised $1.7 million in their 2015 FUNraising campaign. Proceeds will benefit 11 major nonprofits and several smaller charities chosen by Paul Mitchell Schools in their local communities.

Audiences were all ears when the world of Disney took the stage during a Nov. 7 talent show and fundraiser at Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights. A Future Professional attends London Fashion Week

I was looking for schools for 3 months, was working at Macy’s as a counter manager for cosmetics. And since I was doing hair at home, I figured I should just go to school for it. I could not find a school that had weekends off, so I quit my job, and than found Paul Mitchell and found that I could have Saturdays off and be able to keep my job as well.

FunRaising Kick Off 2014

Sterling Heights, MI–– Paul Mitchell the School Michigan kicked off its 11th annual FUNraising campaign on January 28. Students and staff members from over 100 Paul Mitchell Schools schools will spend the months of February through April raising money for charitable organizations. Paul Mitchell the School Michigan’s goal: $100,000. Their partners: A star-studded celebrity lineup representing 11 spectacular charities.
